APN News and Media chairman Gavin O'Reilly has defended the performance of the trans-Tasman media group's board and says those advocating for change are using "megaphone or opportunistic" tactics.
Mr O'Reilly told shareholders at the company's annual general meeting in Sydney the performance of APN, both in relative and absolute terms, compared favourably with other media companies.
