Alan Jones has broken his silence after being accused of multiple accounts of indecent assault, saying he will take an extended break from hosting his right-wing online show to get better from “urgent health issues”.

The 82-year-old disappeared from public view after The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age detailed allegations by five men that Jones used his position of power to indecently grope them or inappropriately touch them without consent.
