I thought The Australian Financial Review was rerunning an old story on Tuesday as I read of a start-up that would provide “400 highly skilled jobs directly” in Queensland. A week earlier, the Financial Review was reporting on a start-up with a unique technology which had “400 [jobs] in Brisbane”.
Tuesday’s story told of a start-up run by two academic scientists, each with a University of Queensland affiliation; last week’s story was about a start-up begun by “three University of Queensland engineering graduates”.
