Lack of trade buyers for Molycop concerned Arrium

A thinning field of largely private funds looking to acquire Arrium’s crown-jewel asset Molycop raised concerns in November 2015 that a sale at the top end of its price range was probably beyond reach.

Former Arrium chief executive Andrew Roberts took the stand on Monday and was grilled by Michael Borsky, QC, who is representing Arrium’s liquidator, KordaMentha, in its action against Arrium’s directors, including former chairman Jerry Maycock and Mr Roberts.
