BHP executive the new boss at Incitec Pivot

Simon Evans

Incitec Pivot has hired a former BHP coal and copper executive, Mauro Neves de Moraes, as its new chief executive as it prepares for a possible sale of its fertilisers business.

Mr Neves spent six years in senior leadership roles at BHP’s Escondida copper mine and its Queensland coal division, but exited in August to embark on a pilgrimage and extended walking tour in Europe. Mr Neves will start at Incitec Pivot on January 22.
