In a bittersweet twist, Holden’s Adelaide workers will receive a 3 per cent pay rise next week because the federal government is yet to agree whether to save their jobs.

Should, however, a deal be reached, and Holden agrees to stay in Australia beyond 2015, the pay rise will be rescinded.
