Gupta shakes up Liberty boardroom to tackle Greensill fallout

London | Metals magnate Sanjeev Gupta has shaken up the executive ranks at his global Liberty Steel business as he battles to save the company from being dragged under by the collapse of Greensill Capital.

Mr Gupta has appointed a four-man “restructuring and transformation committee” which Liberty Steel said in a statement would have “full autonomy to restructure Liberty’s operations to focus on core profitable units, and either fix or sell underperforming units”.
