London | Embattled British metals magnate Sanjeev Gupta is fighting spot fires across his whole European business, as his GFG Alliance struggles to pull through a funding crisis caused by the collapse of its key financier Greensill.
The latest pressure point involves allegations reported in the Financial Times on Friday that six European metals companies named in invoices provided by Mr Gupta’s companies to Greensill to secure loans deny ever having done business with Mr Gupta’s Liberty Commodities.
