Freedom Foods seeks to throw out California lawsuit

The troubled Freedom Foods Group is seeking to have thrown out a $US16 million ($21 million) lawsuit in California brought against it by major supplier Blue Diamond Growers.

Lawyers for the Australian manufacturer are trying to dismiss or stay the court action lodged in late September before a hearing that is set down for February 5.
