Packaging giant Amcor is back on the hunt for sizeable acquisitions with its global operations generating free cash flow of up to $US1.2 billion ($1.65 billion) and the integration of the $9 billion purchase of Bemis in the United States in 2019 now finished.

Chief executive Ron Delia said the group had stepped up scouring the market for the right businesses, with Asia a high priority, although it was looking in all corners of the globe.
