Australian companies are flocking to list on the international OTCQX market in the United States to gain exposure to US investors while avoiding the heavy fees that usually accompany a listing on the New York Stock Exchange or Nasdaq.
The OTCQX was established in March 2007 in response to the increasingly onerous and costly legislative environment that followed the introduction of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
