Transurban denies employee fired for whistleblowing

Transurban has denied it breached the Fair Work Act and has asked courts to dismiss a claim brought by a former employee who alleged he lost his job at the toll road group after making whistle-blower complaints.

Former traffic control room officer and network operator Rohan Brothers claimed in May that his job was terminated after he made a series of complaints between November last year and February this year.
