Australia’s cities are being transformed by infrastructure. This year’s opening of a new underground metro line in Sydney’s CBD and progress towards an airport in Western Sydney and an airport rail link in Melbourne shows governments remain willing to invest. But Australia’s expanding population needs more homes and hospitals, and more efficient and affordable transport.
