New Boral CEO Vik Bansal says price rises may not be enough
New Boral chief executive Vik Bansal says it is too early to tell if a round of price rises implemented in August will be enough to combat the substantial inflation in raw materials and energy which the cement, asphalt and quarries company is facing.
Mr Bansal officially took up his position of Boral chief executive on October 10, brought in two months earlier than scheduled by Boral chairman Ryan Stokes and his father, Rich Lister billionaire Kerry Stokes.
