M Resources snags some of Aurizon coal haulage sale

Aurizon has offloaded One Rail’s coal haulage business to a joint venture half owned by M Resources founder Matt Lattimore, securing $425 million in cash for investors.

The Brisbane-headquartered rail group has been trying to sell off the east coast coal haulage operations of freight rail business One Rail, which it bought for $2.35 billion in July, to assuage competition concerns.
