Logicamms wins water contract
A contract to upgrade a water treatment plant is a welcome diversification for this Perth-based engineering services company.
Perth-based engineering services company Logicamms announced on Wednesday morning that it had been awarded a contract to upgrade a water treatment plant in Mackay. Logicamms’ $4 million share of the $24 million project amounts to about 10 per cent of the company’s average revenues for the past two years of $40 million.
Of further significance is the fact that it is in essential services infrastructure. Logicamms has traditionally generated a substantial proportion of revenues from the mining and energy sectors, so this increased exposure to alternative infrastructure projects is important. Investment in water infrastructure is also expected to increase in the medium term after many years of neglect.
