FibreconX teams up with Megaport in fibre network push

FibreconX chief executive Mark Rafferty says the group hopes to snare 200 to 300 wholesale fibre customers from the country’s biggest telecommunications groups as it pitches cut-price services.

The prices charged by wholesale customers of FibreconX, which is backed by Andrew and Nicola Forrest’s private investment group Tattarang, will be “significantly cheaper” than the current prices charged by other fibre providers, Mr Raffety told The Australian Financial Review. “We’re seeing gigabit prices at $399 [a month] and 10-gigabit prices at $699 a month.”
