Engineer Cardno takes $50m hit on local malaise

Infrastructure and engineering outfit Cardno has taken a $48 million hit on the local sector, only nine months after flagging the end of big financial impacts from “past mistakes”.
The Brisbane-based outfit, with 6000 staff globally, on Friday revealed a $48 million impairment charge against its Asia Pacific division.
