Decmil NZ's liquidators buy time on $12m cash grab

The New Zealand government's attempts to seize $12 million in performance bonds from Perth-based engineering group Decmil have been temporarily thwarted after liquidators won an injunction to stop them being paid.

The liquidator of Decmil's New Zealand construction business, Avior Consulting, has been awarded the injunction by New Zealand's High Court for three weeks as it investigates a dispute over a $NZ185 million ($181.5 million) prison contract.
