Cardno flags Aussie cuts amid poor engineering result

Engineering outfit Cardno is flagging cost cuts and “right-sizing” efforts after taking a $70 million hit on the value of its Australian business.
The local arm of Brisbane-based Cardno, which started as WWII wound down and employs almost 4400 people globally, again blamed problems with the wind-down of big contracts in Australia for another poor result.
