Terry Snow, the billionaire property developer best known for successfully privatising Canberra Airport, died on Sunday just months after stepping down from active management roles.

Mr Snow’s family expressed heartbreak at his death but praised the 80-year-old’s legacy, which included developing large swaths of Canberra and extensive philanthropic endeavours.
