'Wake-up call' as SA records new local transmission cases
South Australia has recorded its first cases of local transmission of COVID-19 in many months, with three people from the same family testing positive and 90 other people put into immediate quarantine after being at the same hospital in northern Adelaide as one of the cases.
SA Chief Public Health Officer Dr Nicola Spurrier said on Sunday she was expecting more cases to arise and it was a ''wake-up call'' for the state after months of no local transmission.
