Aged care operators could find the going rough till 2022, says UBS
Headwinds for listed aged care operators could persist until at least fiscal 2022, a UBS analyst has warned, after a royal commission found that the system needs a fundamental overhaul.
Thursday's interim report by commissioners Richard Tracey and Lynelle Briggs said the design, objectives, regulation and funding of the industry needed urgent reform, as it failed to uniformly deliver safe and quality care.
