Vaccination programs around the world will create a surge in routine testing that has been missed amid pandemic fears of going to the doctor, says Sonic Healthcare boss Colin Goldschmidt.

In Australia, there has been a rebound in anatomical pathology testing at the nation’s largest private pathology player for items such as pap smear tests, used to detect cervical cancer, which have been skipped.
