Silk Laser says inflation rising in botox, cosmetic injections

Inflationary pressures are building in the cosmetic injections and laser treatments industry, with the chief executive of ASX-listed Silk Laser Clinics warning the prices of some treatments are likely to go up.

Martin Perelman said on Monday that the cost from suppliers of injectables products, lasers, needles and gloves had all been rising, along with labour costs. The group was monitoring further inflationary pressures and trying to offset them as much as possible through its scale and by dealing with three suppliers.
