When Helen Kurincic was a child taking the rumbling tram from home in Airport West Melbourne past the Royal Children's and Royal Melbourne hospitals she knew then she wanted to one day work in healthcare where she could make the ultimate difference to people's lives.

She started her career as an intensive care nurse at the Royal Melbourne, where she saw the inefficiencies of healthcare, the lack of collaboration and poor access to information for patients. She learnt quickly that to make the biggest difference in healthcare, it would be through business.
