Lab giant’s new CEO gets pay package of almost $5m

ALS has looked inward for its new chief executive, Malcolm Deane, who will take the reins of the Brisbane-based laboratory giant on a potential pay package worth almost $5 million.
A Spanish-speaking former Argentine lawyer, Mr Deane succeeds predecessor Raj Naran who suddenly left in March, citing family concerns.
