Infratil buys majority stake in Kiwi radiology group

Infratil is beefing up its presence in the radiology sector, taking a majority stake in New Zealand’s largest private imaging service provider, Pacific Radiology Group, from doctor shareholders for as much as $NZ350 million ($326.1 million).

Pacific Radiology operates 46 clinics in the South Island and lower North Island and employs 90 radiologists. Under the deal, the listed infrastructure giant will buy a controlling interest between 50.1 per cent and 60 per cent of Pacific Radiology.
