Health stocks to win from budget’s tick for bulk-billing
Listed pathology and diagnostic companies are set to benefit from doctors ordering more tests as GP visits become more affordable under a new bulk-billing subsidy for nearly 12 million people announced in the federal budget.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers’ allocation of extra cash for migration policy and measures to ease the labour shortage will also benefit aged care companies, Royal Bank of Canada analyst Craig Wong-Pan says.
