Private equity giant KKR is poised to make an additional investment into Australian cancer care provider GenesisCare, which is offering new a precision medicine test for women diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer enabling for better-informed care decisions.

Dan Collins, GenesisCare founder and chief executive, moved to California last year after buying Florida-based 21st Century Oncology, in a $1.6 billion deal, which created a $5 billion combined group.
