London | ASX-listed MGC Pharma is the first medical cannabis producer to float on the main board of the London Stock Exchange, as Australian players rush into the rapidly opening European market.

The company issued 441 million shares in London at 1.475 pence apiece on Tuesday, experiencing a 61 per cent price surge on the first day of trading amid tight liquidity and strong demand.
