Medical gloves and protective suits maker Ansell has warned that extra production capacity brought on by industry rivals to take advantage of booming pandemic demand is starting to force lower the price of basic single-use gloves.

New chief executive Neil Salmon said a “correction” of prices is happening faster than expected in single-use medical gloves.
