Gowing Bros has launched a one-for-eight pro-rata non-renounceable rights issue to raise about $12.2 million.

The move comes in the wake of the Gowing’s family investment vehicle contracting to buy the high yielding Port Macquarie Shopping Centre for about $60.6 million.
