The Star will be the only casino in Sydney where punters can use gaming machines, as its operator, The Star Entertainment Group, revealed it had inked a new 20-year tax agreement with the NSW government.
Although it was known that Crown Resorts’ Sydney casino, which is aimed at VIP gamblers, did not intend to offer gaming machines, confirmation that The Star will be the exclusive provider of slots in the two-casino market will be welcome news for investors.
