Victoria’s gaming regulator has deemed Crown Melbourne suitable to keep operating its Southbank casino despite breaching anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism laws.

Crown Melbourne was put on notice that it is not “too big to fail” by Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission chairwoman Fran Thorn on Tuesday, who said she was satisfied that the gaming giant’s “systemic failings” were in the past.
