Crown to stagger Sydney casino opening amid labour crunch

Crown Resorts is planning a staggered opening of its Sydney casino to deal with the nationwide labour crunch just as the NSW gambling regulator is poised to reinstate its suspended casino licence.

Chief executive Steve McCann said he was planning to open the first of the two rooms in the $2.3 billion Barangaroo tower when the NSW licence was reinstated “shortly.”
