Crown Resorts faces $100m fine for dodgy cheques at Melbourne casino

Crown Resorts is facing another $100 million fine from the Victorian casino regulator, this time for unlawfully extending credit to patrons through cheques.

The Victorian Gambling Casino Control Commission issued a notice on Thursday that requires the casino to provide information on patrons buying chips using blank cheques and cheques addressed to themselves, not Crown Melbourne, as required by law.
