Australian bet pays off for British gaming giant Flutter
London | Global gaming giant Flutter has hailed Australia as its "standout performer", after its local offshoot, Sportsbet, posted soaring customer and revenue growth even in the midst of Victoria's COVID-19 lockdown.
Sportsbet grew its average daily customer count by 86 per cent in the third quarter from a year earlier, Britain-based Flutter said in a filing to the London Stock Exchange late on Wednesday (Thursday AEDT).
