Animoca Brands’ Yat Siu has flagged he sees the sell-off in the crypto industry as a great buying opportunity. But how one of the largest investors in the sector plans to take advantage of that may have a slight twist.

The unlisted digital entertainment group, which has stakes in more than 380 digital finance, gaming and social media companies, is exploring raising up to $US1 billion in a separate investment fund.
