Funtastic forecasts profit drop as bidders eye Madman

Funtastic will pay a hefty price for severing itself from its struggling film distribution unit Madman, booking as much as a $28 million impairment charge on the imminent sale of the business which will plunge the wholesaler back into the red this year.
The company has abandoned its earnings guidance for the second time in eight months, also blaming deteriorating conditions in its domestic business
