Listed investment company Templeton Global Growth Fund has beaten the benchmark international equities index and will reward its shareholders with a special "anniversary" dividend to mark the 20th year of its operation as a funds manager in Australia.

TGG, which is managed by the United States-based Franklin Templeton Investments group, a global investment organisation with its headquarters in San Mateo, California, has posted an after-tax profit of $6.76 million, up from $5.99 million previously.
