Tower focuses on general insurance, lifts dividend

Financial services group Tower is turning its attention to general insurance after hiving off three of its major divisions in the past six months.
Tower, which used to run life and health insurance, funds management and investments, reported a $NZ44.2 million net profit for the six months to March 31 on Tuesday, a jump of 89 per cent compared with the previous corresponding period.
