Shaun Bonett’s Prezzee has a costly run-in with Amazon

Prezzee, the gift card payments group controlled by billionaire businessman Shaun Bonett, has had to stop selling Amazon vouchers in the United States, undermining a key revenue stream, after damaging its relationship with the tech giant.

Prezzee operates an app allowing customers to buy, send and store digital gift cards for retailers around the world, including Apple and David Jones. It is largely owned by Mr Bonett, the company’s chairman, who has previously spruiked a valuation of more than $1 billion as Prezzee focuses on growth in the US and Britain.
