Macquarie Group ’s attempt to run a red light with Redflex Holdings has been given short shrift by the traffic camera-system provider.

Greenhill Caliburn-advised Redflex yesterday knocked back a proposal of $2.50 a share from Macquarie Special Situations, which snapped up a 10.2 per cent stake in June this year.
