Perpetual joins ETF ranks with ethical fund
Perpetual Asset Management will become the latest old-school investment manager to turn to exchange-traded funds as the financial planning sector struggles, when one of its ethical fund takes to the ASX on Monday.
The Perpetual Ethical SRI Fund – trading under the code GIVE – will be the fund manager’s first ETF, and precedes the later listing of Perpetual’s Global Innovation Share Fund that will trade as IDEA. Perpetual Australia executive Amanda Gillespie said it planned to float more active managed funds in future.
