National Australia Bank's job axe swings at private bank
National Australia Bank's latest round of job culling is said to have claimed as many as 50 positions across its private bank, as the lender transitions to a new operating model for wealthy customers.
Sources told The Australian Financial Review the cuts included frontline bankers and credit staff and followed a period of consultation. The next phase is possible redeployment within other areas of NAB, ahead of many of those staff being shown the door, the sources said.
