Myer Family Company steers clear of private equity

The Myer Family Company has decided not to allocate any of the money it manages on behalf of other rich families to private equity and venture capital funds.

The Myer Family Company has decided not to allocate any of the money it manages on behalf of other rich families to private equity and venture capital funds.

The country’s largest and most prominent multi-family office had kept a watching brief on PE and VC investment opportunities in Australia and overseas, but remained unwilling to allocate funds to the category after a review, said Miles Collins, Myer Family Company’s head of investments, private wealth management.
