Mining services are all the go in small-cap stocks at the moment so it is little wonder trailer manufacturer MaxiTRANS Industries is looking to up its exposure to the resources boom.

MaxiTRANS is understood to be close to buying Queensland Diesel Spares, a truck parts business with stores in Gladstone, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
