Mark Bouris' Yellow Brick Road rejects Ron Brierley takeover offer

Yellow Brick Road (YBR) executive chairman Mark Bouris has described a 9¢ per share takeover offer lobbed by corporate raider Sir Ron Brierley's Mercantile Investment Company as "grossly inadequate", and advised shareholders to ignore it.

In a letter to shareholders, Mr Bouris said Mercantile's offer would deprive them of the full strategic value of their investment in the mortgage and wealth group.
