Human rights advocates say Westpac's non-financial risk protocols are "20 years behind", after shocking allegations linking the bank to child exploitation in south-east Asia.
Child protection experts have rejected chief executive Brian Hartzer's comment that the bank was not "indifferent" to the breaches, including the allegation that 12 customers made overseas transactions to pay for child pornography.
